Flavour&Some: Immersive Dining Returns to Control Room A
Back by popular demand, FLAVOUR&SOME returned to Control Room A for its second public run - delivering a sold-out weekend of bold, sensory-driven dining that fused fine cuisine with live performance. With just 60 guests per show, the intimate, ticketed experience transformed the venue into a stage where food, movement, and emotion came together.
Created by internationally acclaimed movement artist Eileih Muir and award-winning chef Adam Thomason, FLAVOUR&SOME is designed to break the traditional dining format. The experience unfolded across the Directors Bar and Control Room A, beginning with a welcome drink before guests were guided into the heart of the venue. Long communal tables were set between the historic control desks, framed by dramatic florals and atmospheric lighting. Performers moved through the space, weaving choreographed vignettes between courses - some of which invited guests to engage through blindfolded tastings or unexpected table interactions.

Each course was rooted in storytelling, with British-sourced ingredients and carefully orchestrated sensory cues. Thomason’s culinary expertise and Muir’s immersive approach combined to push boundaries - offering an experience that felt both intimate and theatrical.
Control Room A’s heritage interiors added a sense of grandeur and drama to the evening, while remaining flexible enough to accommodate technical requirements, lighting design, and staging. For this event, the venue’s distinctive aesthetic became an integral part of the guest journey - elevating each moment while grounding it in history.
The experience was widely featured across London’s top cultural guides, including The Londonist, The Nudge, Flo London, and The Handbook, earning spots on their "top things to do" lists and drawing a curious, culture-loving crowd.

“A joy-fueled adventure that blurs the line between restaurant and stage.”
With every seat sold and glowing reviews from guests and press alike, FLAVOUR&SOME reaffirmed Control Room A’s reputation as a destination for exceptional, immersive experiences - where architecture, performance, and storytelling come together under one Art Deco roof.
